The Reishauer 3Dperformer is a dressing tool for grinding processes especially geared for e-drives. The combination of the dressing tool, with its newly developed diamond-coated finish, together with the fine grinding worm, contributes significantly to ensuring stability in the grinding process. Its benefits are particularly evident in applications for continuous generating grinding which requires very tight tolerances, which is typical for e-drives.
The new combination wheel enables high rates of metal removal and output, simultaneously generating a very fine surface finish. Both tools perfectly complement one another and provide the customer with significant performance benefits.
Reishauer 3Dperformer provides the following benefits:
- increased long-term stability, even with the tightest dimensional tolerances, as especially necessary for e-drive applications (ffα < 0.002)
- significantly reduced thermal effects due to low dressing forces, and thus low grinding forces
- optimized running-in behaviour, making any free running obsolete
